Alfred George Fisher was the third son of Thomas Makin John Fisher (a sheriff’s Officer?) and Mary Emma (formerly Robinson) of Princess Street Hulme. He was baptised on Christmas Day 1830 at St George’s Church Hulme. He commenced independent practice about 1854 with an office at 12 Kennedy Street Manchester, moving to 16 Tib Lane a year later.

During 1850s T M Fisher and Son auctioneers also of 16 Tib Lane Manchester advertised regularly in the Manchester Guardian. It is assumed that this partnership was between his father and another brother.

Alfred George Fisher, architect, third son of T M Fisher of Manchester died on 24 March 1861, aged 30 years. [Manchester Guardian 28 March 1861 page 4 - deaths]
