Stanley Adshead's first building in Worthing was the never-completed Albion Terrace, which no longer bears that name. It is a Regency-style pastiche dating from 1904, with three floors, mansard roofs to the westernmost houses and a pediment and cornice to numbers 209 and 211. This should have been a central feature, but two more houses intended for the east end were not built.
