Albion Mill was a three-storeyed building built in 1845 first occupied by a Mr Charles Stewart. Cotton manufacture on the site ceased in 1889 when all the looms were transferred to Grove Mill. Subsequent uses included slipper making and the manufacture of cardboard boxes. In November 1977 It was destroyed by fire and demolished.
