New Sunday School at Weaste - The new Sunday Schools of All Saints' Church, Weaste, were opened on Saturday. The schools, which are in Eccles New Road, have been built from the plans of Mr. T. Hudson, architect, by Messrs. Thorpe and Sons, at a cost of £2,000. They will accommodate 500 scholars. Following a procession to the new building, there was a service at which the Rev H. D. Lockett, vicar of St. Luke's, gave an address. The Rev. W. G. Edwards Rees, the vicar of St. Thomas's, Pendleton, and the Rev T. Emmott, also took part in the proceedings.
