                    Portland stone up to first floor with Burmantoft vitreous terra cotta above. The remainder of the building cased in concrete blocks. According to Ian Chapman of Fairhursts, the warehouse was originally commissioned in 1905 but not completed until 1921. The Burmantofts advert of 1914 would suggest that the building was well advanced at the outbreak of the First World War.
