                    A single storey structure 90 feet by 56 feet situated in a small spinney between the power station and Redcliffe Road. Built on the “All Electric” principal, with the whole of the cooking, water heating room-warming and lighting being done using electricity. The kitchen equipment was designed to provide cooked meals for 200 workpeople and 20 staff. [Manchester Guardian 26 January 1933 page 11]
