MORECAMBE Messrs S Butterworth and W Duncan have won in open competition the first prize for a school at Morecambe to accommodate 650 children in three departments. The Morecambe School Board employed a professional assessor to decide which were the best plans. Messrs Butterworth and Duncan are now engaged in erecting a board school at Wombwell near Barnsley which they also secured in open competition.
