Branch Bank: Gorton

In December 1929 it was announced that a site had been acquired for  a new branch of the District Bank in Gorton. It is unclear whether this was a scheme for new build. In March 1930 the District bank were proposing the conversion of existing premises to Branch Bank at the same address - Hyde Road and Chatsworth Road Gorton. [Builder7 March 1930 Page 508]
