HOUSE AT TODMORDEN - This house was recently erected at Todmorden, by Mr. Jesse Horsfall, architect, as office and residence. The walls are faced with Yorkshire parpoints and local grit stone dressings; roof laid w1th Staffordshire tiles. “Burnlea” forms a non-matching pair with “Lindores.” House two and a half storey with basement. It appears to have been built after the latter. Lancashire vernacular cf Edgar Wood.
