Chapel, Altrincham General Cemetery, Hale

ALTRINCHAM - The Altrincham local board recently invited several architects to submit designs in limited competition for their new cemetery chapel, etc., to be erected at Hale, near Altrincham, Cheshire. In response to this invitation four sets of designs were sent in, and the one submitted by Mr. Wm. Owen, A.R.I.B.A., 134. Deansgate, Manchester, under the motto, “Registrar,” has been selected, and he has been instructed to prepare the necessary details and quantities and obtain estimates for same, and the work is to be carried out forthwith under his supervision.
