ST BOTOLPH SIBSON - Long chancel of c.1300. Y-tracery side windows and a Perp S w one. Huge E window with intersecting tracery. The rest rebuilt c. 1726, after the 'steeple' fell, by Francis Smith of Warwick (his builder was a Thomas Moor). Brick nave with parapets and ashlar-faced w tower. The nave has round-arched windows which Alfred Bickerdike incongruously filled with a version of Geometrical tracery during his restoration in 1877. [Pevsner Leicestershire and Rutland page 378]
