                    Port St. Mary Church, in the Isle of Man, has been consecrated. The church is built of local stone pointed in cement and limestone dressings; the tower is built up to a height of 15ft. and covered in temporarily. The walls are plastered internally, and the open timbered roof and seats are of pitch pine, the floors of wood block, the windows of rolled cathedral glass, of square and diamond alternately. It seats 300 persons, and the contract was inclusive of commission. etc, about £1,500. The builder is Mr. Flaxney Stowell, of Castletown, and the architects Messrs. T. D. Barry and Son, of Liverpool.
