Church of St Saviour, Aughton
A few days since the Bishop of Manchester consecrated the new church of St. Saviour, Aughton, in the parish of Halton, near Lancaster, erected in lieu of an ancient church recently taken down. The plans were furnished by Mr. E. G. Paley, architect, in the Early English style. [Church Times, London 23 July 1864 page 237]
