A new club is being built in Julia-street, Rochdale, for the Spotland Liberal Association. The building comprises on the ground floor, lecture hall, reading room, smoke room, committee room, and house for steward; on the upper floor, billiard room, bar, snuggery, card room, lavatories, etc. Mr. Henry Simpson, of Rochdale, is the builder, and Messrs.
