                    A new Congregational Church is about to be erected at Seacombe, Cheshire, from designs by Messrs. Smith & Matley, architects, of 14, Ridgefield, Manchester. It will be faced with Ruabon bricks, with terra-cotta dressings, and the roofs will be covered with Westmorland green slates. The church will seat 650 and will have an octagonal tower with spire reaching to about 100 feet. Messrs. Hughes & Stirling, of Bootle, are the contractors. [Builders Journal 15 March 1905 page 137]
