Built about 1850, Dover House stood at the junction of Oxford Road and Dover Street. From the 1920s to 1962 Dover House or 315 Oxford Road as it was more commonly known, was the headquarters for the Manchester branch of the Joint Matriculation Board. Demolished by 1969.
