Ensor Mill, Queensway, Castleton, Rochdale: Extension

We are informed that the directors of the Ensor Mill Limited contemplate making considerable extensions to their present mill at Castleton. Some time ago the land between the Ensor Mill and the Arrow Mill was acquired for Castleton Estates Limited. and part of this will be used for the new building. Mr. Sidney Stott of Oldham has been appointed architect. The present spindleage of the Ensor Mill is 20,000 condenser spindles. [Rochdale Observer - Saturday 25 April 1914 page 8]
