HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, FAILSWORTH, near MANCHESTER. This church is to be erected on a site in Oldham Road, Failsworth, near Manchester. The plan consists of wide nave, with stone arcading and narrow side aisles, wide chancel of good proportions, and transepts, and a side chapel. Suitable vestries and organ‑chamber are also provided. Externally the building will be faced with Yorkshire stone parpoints, with all dressings of red Rainhill or Yorkshire stone, and the roofs of North‑Country green slates or red tiles. The internal .walls to be plastered, and the woodwork of selected pitch‑pine, with nave arcading, piers, and internal dressings of stone.  The style adopted is Late Decorated Gothic, and the tower is placed at the south‑west angle of building, facing the main road. Accommodation is provided for 500 worshippers, and the architect is Mr. Frank Freeman, of Bolton, whose design was selected in competition, and was this year hung in the Royal Academy Exhibition. The style of architecture adopted is late decorated Gothic. The architect is Mr Frank R Freeman of Bolton and the contractors Messrs R Rathbone and Sons of Atherton.
