The District Council have accepted the plans of Mr William Owen Duchy Chambers Clarence Street Manchester for the erection of a hospital for infectious diseases. The designs were submitted in a limited competition and were awarded first place by the assessor, Mr Frank Briggs FRIBA, Liverpool. [Builder 13 May 1905 Page 518].
