Mr C Owen. J.P. has opened in Chapel Street a very large, well-lighted, and attractive looking agricultural warehouse. The floor space occupies about 3,500 superficial feet. The façade is built in the Renaissance style and looks very artistic. There is a house adjoining and a shop behind. Mr Owen has got an excellent stock of agricultural machines and implements and mantles and ranges. The shop and workshop have cost about £1,300. The work has been carried out under the supervision of Mr Percy Crabtree, architect and surveyor on behalf of Messrs Travis and Ramsden, and Mr J Boydell of Princess Street was the contractor.
