                    NEW CHAPEL AT NEWTON HEATH - On Saturday the corner stones of a new chapel belonging to the Methodist New Connexion were laid at Newton Heath by Miss Harwood and Miss Derbyshire and a memorial stone by Mr John McNamee. The new building will be in Droysden Road on the site of the chapel which has been taken down. The style will be Gothic from designs by Mr Gregory Gill, architect, Stalybridge. The cost will be £3,300.
