“Millfield Hill” North Street Great Driffield
Millfield House was built for Henry Angar, a wealthy local shopkeeper and was later remodelled for Harrison Holt, a Hull industrialist, local magistrate and chairman of the local Conservative Club as "Highfield" Notice of the birth of a daughter at Highfield on 1 June in the Driffield Times of 6 June 1885 indicates that the sale of the property had occurred before this date. William Angas still listed in the Directory of 1879. For a time, the house was a Country Club but has reverted to a private residence. Half-timbered Tudor style standing on high ground to the north of the town.
