MANCHESTER - A monument (Gothic) to the late John Fenton, Esq., has been placed on the east side of Bamford Chapel, near Manchester. The materials used are Caen stone, white statuary, and Alexandria red marbles. The architect is Mr. J. M. Taylor, of St. Ann’s Church-yard, Manchester; the builder, Mr. James Lord, Heywood; and the execution of the bust was entrusted to Mr. Papworth, of London. [Building News 11 August 1865 Page 571]
