                    “Moor Crag,” Windermere, for Mr J. W. Buckley, is built of local stone, cement rough-cast outside, with door and window dressings and paving in green Westmoreland stone, the roofs being covered with green Westmoreland slates with lead hips and ridges. All the interior joinery is in oak and every room is oak-lined to a height of 6ft. 6in., with plain white plaster above. The contractor was Mr. G. H. Pattinson, of Windermere, and the architect Mr. C. F. A. Voysey, of 23, York Place, Baker Street, W. [Builders Journal 29 October 1902 page 176-177 with plans and details of verandah]
