Some time since the Local Board of Farnworth determined to build new offices and invited plans for their erection. Those sent in by Mr N H Hacking and Mr Pickup were deemed most suitable and a sum of £20 has now been voted by the Board to be divided between these two gentlemen. It has been decided, after all, only to enlarge the old offices
