                    On Monday, a new parish-room and schools in connection with St. Barnabas's Church, Crewe, were opened by the Ven. Archdeacon Gore. The accommodation is for about 350 scholars. Built on a triangular site next to the church of St Barnabas on West Street, Crewe. Datestone AD 1887 above the main entrance door. Un-listed. Brandwood and Pevsner both (incorrectly?) attribute it to Paley and Austin who were responsible for the church.
