                    BOOTLE - On the 17th ult. the memorial stones of a new Primitive Methodist Sunday-school buildings, in Queen’s-road, Bootle, were laid. The foundation-stone of a new chapel adjoining was laid a short time back by Mr. VV. P. Hartley. The designs for the chapel and schools are thirteenth-century Gothic, and the buildings are of brick, with stone frontings. The chapel will seat 400, and the school 300, and the amount of the contract is £2,600. The builder is Mr. Thomas Bridge, of Burscough, and Messrs. Maxwell, Tuke, and Hurst, of Southport, are the architects.
