The memorial stones of a Primitive Methodist school-chapel, to be erected in Briercliffe-road, Burnley, were laid on the 7th inst. The building will comprise a central hall, a gallery, and nine class-rooms, haying accommodation for 400 scholars or 750 worshippers. The work is being carried out from designs and under the supervision of Mr. Geo. E. Bolshaw, architect. of Southport and Crewe, at a cost under £3,000. [Building News 20 October 1893 page 530]
