New Primitive Methodist Day and Sunday Schools are about to be built at Newton Moor, Hyde, Cheshire, from plans by Mr. Gregory Gill, architect, of Stalybridge, chosen in a limited competition.  [Building News 20 March 1885 page 472]

On Saturday last six memorial stones were laid at the new schools for the Primitive Methodists, Newton Moor, near Hyde. Mr. Gregory Gill, of Stalybridge, is the architect, and Mr. S. Robinson, of Hyde, is the builder. [Building News 15 May 1885 page 796]
