On Saturday afternoon Dr Bilsborrow, Bishop of Salford opened the new Roman Catholic Schools which have been erected adjoining the Church of St Patrick and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Oldham. The schools will accommodate 1,000 scholars and the building, as well as the Presbytery, which is not yet completed, was designed by Mr Oswald Hill, of Manchester.
