'The White Hart Inn, Burnley' signed and dated '39 by artist, also inscribed with title and 'Designed by Halstead Best F.R.I.B.A Architect' on slip; bears label verso watercolour, together with another similar, 'The Clarence Hotel Blackpool for Charles Westwell Esq', indistinctly signed by artist, inscribed with title and 'Halstead Best F.R.I.B.A. F.S.I. Architect, Blackpool' on slip  31 x 43.5cm (12 3/16 x 17 1/8in). Sold for £240 Bonhams Chester February 2011
