Morvil or Morfil is a remote upland parish on the southern slopes of the Preseli Mountains.  The church is perched on a bank above the valley adjacent to Morvil farm. Church records end in 1978 with the church declared redundant in 1985. Now in private ownership.In 1886, before restoration work,  the church was described as roofless excet fo the chancel, with only an occasional service being held.
