St. Helier's Market, Jersey (Architectural Competition)

ST. HELIER'S MARKET, JERSEY- The Markets Committee, after a careful comparison of the competitive plans, have awarded the first premium of £30 to Mr. T. W. Helliwell, of Brighouse, Yorks, and Messrs. Bellamy and Hardy, of Brighouse and Lincoln, and the second, of £20, to Messrs. Bromilow and Cheers, of 409, Strand, London, and 21, Harrington-street, Liverpool. The Legislative Assembly will meet some time next month, when the premiated plans will be again laid before them. [Building News 27 February 1880 page 248]
