Wesleyan Chapel, Elmswood Road, Aigburth Vale, Liverpool
Services in Aigburth village were commenced in the mid-1820s. In 1875 a new brick church was built in Elmswood Road, but this soon became too small. An iron church was put up alongside this building in 1900 and the old church became the Sunday School. As Aigburth continued to grow, a new site was secured on the Boulevard, and a new church was erected in 1928.
