Manchester and County Bank, 26 Colne Road, Brierfield,

This branch of the Manchester and County Bank was built at the same time as the branch in Nelson, but on a much smaller scale, reflecting the size of the business. It became the District Bank c1925, but is now occupied by shops and offices. It stands out from the surrounding buildings by its use of red sandstone dressings to complement the local stone.
