Alfred Lacey Tate

Alfred Lacey Tate was born in Manchester and worked in the office of Alfred Waterhouse before joining Frank Popplewell in partnership. Married Adelaide about 1876 and set up residence in Altrincham where he remained until at least 1891. In partnership with Frank Popplewell c1875-1892. Tate retired from practice about 1892 and in 1901 was noted as living in retirement in Dawlish, Devon.
