Hugh Owens

Hugh Owens was born at Liverpool in 1859, the eldest child of Richard Owens, architect, (qv) and his wide Margaret. He was articled tp his father about 1875 joined his father in partnership in 1882. He continued the practice under the style Richard Owen and Son after Richard Owens’s death in 1891 until his own death in 1940. He never married but lived with his three unmarried sisters.
