John Rennison Little was the youngest of three sons of William and Harriet Rennison Little who initially pursued an architectural career. He was articled to Woodhouse and Morley 1886-1890 and remained as assistant Attended Kings College London and passed qualifying examination in 1893 being elected Associate of the RIBA on 12 March 1894, proposed by J B Gass, R K Freeman and W J Morley. By 1911 he had given up independent practice and was working as a Land Valuation Officer for the Inland Revenue.
