One of at least ten children of George and Rose Anne Walker, Percy Walker was born at Quarlton (a sparsely populated area 4.5 miles north-east of Bolton and part of Edgeworth from 1898). He was articled as a land surveyor to James Parkinson 1897-1901. Attended Stenton? Technical College. Little is known of his subsequent career. He was elected LRIBA in 1910 and is included in the Dictionary of British Architects. His name but no other information appears in the obituary section of the Journal of the RIBA, January 1923.
