Walter Allott was for over 50 years an architectural draughtsman with Thomas Worthington and P S Worthington. Born in Gainsborough Lincolnshire, and baptised on 19 November 1848, Walter Allott arrived in Manchester with his widowed mother and siblings in the 1860s while still in his teens. Walter Allott died on 21 June 1923 in a nursing home in Lansdowne Road West Didsbury and was cremated at Manchester Crematorium two days later. He never married
