William Best

William Best was the son of James Best, brush manufacturer and Alice and was born in 1831 (RIBA). He was the brother of John Walsh Best (qv) with whom he was in partnership from about 1859 until 28 January 1863. In 1870 he was recorded as surveyor to Bolton Corporation.
