Alterations (II) Hillside Chorley Old Road Heaton Bolton

In 1907 further alterations to the house and garden were made by Jonathan Simpson and James Lomax Simpson for Mary Lever Tillotson [1844-1918] the widow of W F Tillotson, Lever's brother in law, who then occupied house. The elegant gate piers to Chorley New Road were probably added at this time. The house was demolished in 1968.
