Blackburn Police Courts (Architectural Competition)

BLACKBURN POLICE COURTS COMPETITION DESIGN - This fine design by Messrs Woodhouse and Willoughby of Manchester was one of six submitted in the competition for the proposed new Police Courts at Blackburn. The ground floor plan, which is appended, shows the general principle of arrangement followed. The perspective view was exhibited at the Royal Academy last year. [Builder 29 March 1902 page 320]
