A symmetrical five storey stone mill, built to resemble a great house set in parkland. Balustraded parapet, square corner towers with urn decorations. Centrally placed Tuscan chimney rising from a fluted dome. It replaced the earlier “Lower Mill” destroyed by fire in February 1872, with tenders being sought at the end of March that year. The mill ceased production in 1980 and was converted into residential apartments about 1988.
