All the classrooms will have plastered walls and dados of glazed bricks. The central halls will have tiled dados. Special attention has been paid to the heating and ventilation of the building, and in regard to the former there will be an absence of pipes along the floors and so to obviate the harbouring of dust and the germs of disease. .... The school would consist of two departments, a mixed department on the first floor, with accommodation for 450, and an infants= department on the ground floor, with accommodation for 327, a total of 777.
