Board Schools to cost £1,500 for which Joseph Nodal of 17 Dickenson Street, Manchester won the architectural competition. Other entrants included: William Owen of Warrington, Pierpoint and Adams of Warrington; Willoughby and Frazer of Stockport; Bleakley and Cubbon of Birkenhead.
