New Build

Two storey, brick on stone plinth with Westmorland slate hipped roof hidden behind a parapet, this branch bank was built sometime between 1922 and 1926. It was built on the site of the Albion Inn, a mid-Victorian public house purchased by Joseph Holt in 1905. It closed in 1922. Following closure, the bank has been converted into a dental practice and altered, although the original lettering had been retained at parapet level.
