Branch Library, Regent Road, Salford (Architectural Competition)

Eleven designs submitted. Two entries selected, between which a ballot was taken. By a majority of seven to six the one with the motto “Regent” -  Henry Lord, St Mary’s Gate, Manchester was selected. The other design was by Royle and Bennett, Manchester.
