This bungalow was designed for the 1905 Letchworth Cheap Cottages Exhibition and built entirely of Mack partition slabs, said to give better insulation and cheaper upkeep costs to more traditional materials. The total cost was £130. It survives today on Nevells Road (originally called Exhibition Road) next door to a Parker and Unwin building called The Settlement (originally the Skittles Inn).
