PARISH CHURCH, LITTLEHAMPTON, SUSSEX. - THE present Church of Littlehampton was built in 1826, replacing a very interesting structure. It is a mere parallelogram 75 feet long and 48 feet wide, with walls 28 feet high, and flat ceiling, a niche for a chancel, and a western tower. It is now proposed to add a chancel, 26 feet by 22 feet, with vestry and organ chamber, each 14 feet by 10 feet, so arranged as to re- model the church hereafter by forming same into nave and aisles. The present fiat itch of roof is therefore retained, and the Third Pointed work 0 Sussex adopted as the style. The walls will he of flint, with dressings of Doulting stone. The estimated cost is £1,000.  The architect, whose drawings we reproduced, is Mr. Withers, of 11 Adam Street, London.[The Architect 17 July 1876 page 34].
